Freemasonry is the oldest and largest world wide fraternity dedicated to the Brotherhood of Man under the Fatherhood of a Supreme Being. Although of a religious nature, Freemasonry is not a religion. It urges its members, however, to be faithful and devoted to their own religious beliefs.
It is a school of thought. Freemasonry is said to be a beautiful system of morality, veiled in allegory and illustrated by symbols. It's grand tenants of Truth, Relief, and Brotherly Love are taught within its ceremonies.

Freemasons are phrohibited from recruiting others to join. Candidates must approach and express their interest.
There are only two requirements for admission into the fraternity.
Fill out the peition and contact someone in the lodge to express your interest. The lodge will then meet you, read your petition, investigate your character, and vote to accept you into the lodge.
